A call to action

My dear spiritual sojourners…

Thank you.

Thank you for staying with me through this conversation, one which I just knew I wanted to have with you—and that you must have known you wanted to have with me as well, or you wouldn’t have come here, and you surely wouldn’t still be here now.

The complete book. Published with permission from Neale.

We met here by appointment, you and I. And we part now, but not — and never — for long. For even if I do the thing called die, I will always be with you. And you with me. We are together, you and I, joined through our combined destiny. It is a destiny of the soul

I spoke to you about that at the outset, remember? I said that you have come here—to physical form, to this place called Earth, at this particular and critical time in history—to participate in the evolution of our species. Then I said that your participation will be achieved through the work you do with your own Soul.

Then, thanks to your kindness is hearing me out, I was able to lay out a plan by which we might do that work together, for I have carved out the identical destiny. Our work has taken us down some interesting roads to bring us here, as it not? Yet now that work becomes remarkably easy. It involves a simple but impactful conversation. First, a conversation with oneself. Then, a conversation with others. With as many as will engage with us in it.

I suggested that the conversation might revolve around Seven Simple Questions. These are questions that God inspired me to place before all of humanity—and that I you will join me in doing.

This may all not seem like much—it may certainly not seem like world changing stuff—but in fact, it can be exactly that. Every great movement in history, every major shift of thought and action, has started with a conversation. It’s just a matter of how many people we talk to. If we talk to none, nothing will happen. If we talk to many, many things can occur.

And so, then…The Conversations Movement: a global enterprise, a worldwide undertaking, a planetary call to action.

In this case most of the action involves talking and writing. Fill the world with words. Fill newsletters and church bulletins and letters to the editor and pamphlets and flyers and magazine submissions and emails and blogs and texts and tweets and telephone calls and video teleconferences and social network posts with words.

Words about a Future Possible. Words about a New Cultural Story to be co-authored by people from all walks of life in every corner of the world. Words about what is happening now on our planet and what we can do to shape it, and not just simply witness it.

If you would like to add to the co-authoring of humanity’s New Cultural Story, please go now, and go often, to  www.TheGlobalConversation.com

Think about what you want to say, then say it. For it is as Conversations with God has declared: “If humanity’s highest idea about the direction that it wishes to take is not asserted now, its lowest idea could be embraced by default.”

Our opportunity here is to jointly author a brand new story about who we are and how it is with us. And most important, how it’s going to be.

We get to declare, at long last, as a single voice, the truth of our being: We are all One. And with that declaration as the foundation of our New Cultural Story, we can bring an end at last to Separation Theology.

Separation Theology is a theology that insists that we are “over here” and God is “over there.” Its doctrine tells us that God separated us from God as punishment for our sins, and that our job now is to get back to God, which is possible only if God will allow it, which God will do only if we obey God’s commands, follow God’s laws, and submit to God’s will. In short, we must do God’s desire.

This Separation Theology has produced a Separation Cosmology (that is, a way of looking at all of life on this planet that includes separation as its basic principle), which, in turn, has produced a Separation Sociology (that is, a way of socializing with each other that encourages us to act as separate beings serving our own separate interests), which, in the end, has produced a Separation Pathology (that is, pathological behaviors of self-destruction, producing suffering, conflict, violence, and death by our own hands).

Only when our Separation Theology is replaced by a Unity Theology will our pathology be healed. We must come to understand that all of life is One. This is your first step and it is mine. It is the jumping off point. It is the beginning of the end of how things now are. It is the start of a new creation, of a new tomorrow. It is the New Cultural Story.

Oneness is not a characteristic of life, life is a characteristic of Oneness.

Life is the expression of Oneness Itself. God is the expression of Life Itself. God and Life are One. You are a part of Life. You do not and cannot stand outside of it. Therefore you are a part of God. It is a circle. It cannot be broken.

I asked God, years ago during the earlier years of my conversation, What can we do to heal our world? And God replied…

“Give glory to your God by giving glory to each other. See God in everyone, and help everyone see God in themselves. End your divisions and your rivalries, your competitions and your battles, your wars and all your killing forever. End it. Put an end to it. All civilized societies finally do.

“This is my message to you, and more.

“If you truly desire to experience the world of your highest imagining, then you must love unconditionally, share freely, communicate openly, and create cooperatively. There can be no hidden agendas, no limitations on love, no withholding of anything.

“You must decide that you truly are all One, that what is good for another is good for you, that what is bad for another is bad for you, that what you do for another, you do for yourself, and that what you do not do for another, you do not do for yourself.

“Is it possible for you to act like this? Are human beings capable of such splendor?

“Yes. I tell you yes, and yes, and a thousand times, yes.”

The path of most resistance

Should you accept the grandest invitation of all in this book, the invitation to step into beingness as a way of life, you may not touch the whole world, but there’s a solid chance that, if you are like most of us, you will touch over 10,000 people in your lifetime in a personal way. And now, with Internet outreach, that number could easily be multiplied by ten.

Imagine, 100,000 people or more, each hearing a simple but powerful message from you. Why, that could start a snowball rolling downhill. And if all of us did it? It could start an avalanche.

Of such occurrences have landscapes been changed. And it is time now for us to change the Landscape of Our Lives.

Help us, then, if it feels good for you to do so. Help us engage humanity in the Conversation of the Century. Place before the house those Seven Simple Questions. Then stand back and watch the metamorphosis begin.

(Metamorphosis: The process of transformation from an immature form to an adult form in two or more distinct stages; a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.)

You will know soon enough if all of this stepping out—stepping out of your own story to connect with your own soul, stepping out to a new place of being, and stepping out of your comfort zone to engage in a life-impacting conversations—is what you are being called to be. If you accept the call, you will not be alone, a point I have made repeatedly in this conversation. We will be with you. All of us in The Conversations Movement. All of us who are having The Global Conversation. All of us who will welcome you, as we create together the story of our own future.

May you have the richest experience of God’s forever blessings.
