Dear Lord Jesus,

I just want to thank you. Thank you for teaching me your ways and for being there with me every moment of my life. You know how much pain and grief I have gone through lately and I know you feel the pain too. You taught me to trust YOU and not myself. The assurance that everything will be beautiful in your time (Ecclesiastesis 3:11) and to focus on YOU and not the situation or the outcome. I love you Lord, I haven’t had such peace ever. It doesn’t matter what is happening or what is going to happen. It doesn’t matter if I don’t see a way out. It doesn’t matter that I don’t understand. I don’t have to. All I know is that you will never forsake me, it will all be good for me, you will make a way for me and guide me through it. That’s all that I need to know.

I’ve looked through the past and realised what miracles you’ve performed in my life. How can I not believe? Please forgive me for my selfishness and arrogance, Lord. I can never thank you enough for healing my broken heart, giving me love, faith, hope and strength even though I don’t deserve it. I pray that I will never lose focus on you, ever again. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
