A tool to create new meanings. Select a few words that resonate with you, then click ‘cut out’ to show the words and hide all the rest. A new poem will appear…

You can use this tool in class to test comprehension, practise reading skills and developing understanding of important words in text. Simply give students the same text (a brief for assignment, for example) and ask them to click the important words in the brief’s text. Compare results between students, and discuss how different choices of the key-words chosen could lead to different approached in completing the assignment.

The process is of deconstruction and then re-construction.
