Redemption – Songs for Passover. – Dr. Gil Dekel

Full Album Playlist:

How I created this project?

After years of research, developing learning and art programmes, and teaching the Passover (Pesach) story to children (mainly), I have now re-worked this wisdom into educational lyrics. I then instructed AI to generate music, and developed videos using my wife’s art, alongside new art created with AI.
The songs are rooted in the symbols and questions of Passover. I aimed to re-envision the ancient narrative as living music that speaks to memory, faith, doubt, courage and hope.

I work with AI like a producer. Initially, I researched the deeper meanings of Pesach and re-worked them into lyrics. One example is the song about the Ten Plagues. We all know the story, but do we know that the first plague was designed to bring warmth and life to the river Nile – not death? Blood was meant to counter the Egyptian king’s rule, which was cold-hearted. I have focused on these deeper meanings in the lyrics.

I feed AI with the lyrics and direct it by defining the genre, mood, and voice (male, female, whispered, layered, chanted, spoken, choir). I decide whether the song will exist in pop, rock, indie, electronic, world, or orchestral space, and whether it should feel uplifting, intimate, epic, dark, or meditative. I then define tempo, rhythm, texture, and style (minimalist, cinematic, organic or synthetic, warm or stark). I also specify which instruments should anchor the songs (violin, piano, a handpan). Finally, I define the purpose: a song for reflection, ritual, dance/movement, or close listening.

Once I set the creative boundaries, the emotional intention, and story, the AI tool becomes the instrument through which these choices turn into sound, and a song is created. In most cases, I further edited the generated songs using the software Audacity. I would splice the track, copy sections, move parts, edit, and mix.

I also experimented by playing on my 88-key keyboard, attempting to add piano recordings to the songs. I had hoped to work with real singers to record backing voices and additional vocals. While layering in Audacity is technically straightforward, I do not play the piano proficiently, so these experiments were unsuccessful. I also did not work with singers in the end.

It would be valuable to have greater control over the AI tool once songs are generated. Ideally, I could make improvements post-generation and instruct AI, for example: ‘At this point in the song the vocal goes quiet; please pull the vocal up, turn the solo into a choir, add more belting, and increase energy.’ Or, ‘Lift the acoustic guitar; make the violin more prominent,’ etc. Currently, parameters can only be defined at the start of the process, not after a song has been generated. For this reason, I edit the songs in Audacity. My aspiration would be to work with a real-life band that would play and sing my AI-generated songs.

For every song I am satisfied with and have released, I have generated approximately ten songs. Each time a song was created, I adjusted the instructions, added or removed instrument metadata, modified lyrics slightly in some cases, and made further decisions. AI would then generate the next draft, creating an entirely new song from the revised instructions, and so on.

For the videos, I listen again to the lyrics until an image or idea emerges. Sometimes, a visual would come to me at the initial stage of rewriting the story into the lyrics. The story of Passover is ancient, yet I hope I have managed to re-envision it. For some videos, the appropriate choice was to create biblical-motif visuals. In others, I developed entirely new visual interpretations.

To generate images, I draw from the history of art and work with AI in the same way as producing music, instructing it through descriptive metadata for styles (surreal, minimalist, abstract, etc.). I also specify what to draw and how: angle, close-up, macro, bird’s-eye view, leading lines, layered depth (foreground/midground/background), daylight or golden-hour lighting, contrast, bokeh, halo glow, colour palette, documentary style, visionary, contemporary aesthetic, minimal composition, format, aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9) and so on.

At times, I used my wife’s work (she creates encaustic art and psychic portraits), animating her artwork using AI animation tools.
Video editing is labour-intensive work. Some videos contain movement, while others are lyric videos using a single artwork, which took far less time to make. All videos include subtitles, as the text is educational. I do not use auto-transcription, as it introduces errors. Instead, I paste the lyrics line by line into the videos and manually adjust the timing so it aligns with the sound (the voice).

Some songs are designed for a Pesach Seder party and are therefore light-hearted dance tunes with ‘easy’ lyrics. Other songs engage more deeply with the narrative and message of Pesach. They will uplift the spirit in a Pesach party, and they can also be used in educational settings, where students listen, read the lyrics, and research their meanings. This provides an effective way to learn about Pesach.

Across fourteen tracks, Redemption shares the journey from oppression to freedom: a single voice daring to confront power, a people stepping into the unknown, and a story passed from generation to generation around the table of freedom.

Let My People Go!

The first music video, “Let My People Go,” tells the moment when a single voice dares to speak against power – and history begins to change… – by Gil Dekel and AI.

Lyrics - Let My People Go! [click to open]

Down in Egypt, stones and sand,
Slaves were working hand by hand.
Moshe heard the people’s cry,
Lifted heart, raised his eyes.

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
God has said, now you must know.
From the Nile to freedom’s land,
We are born to take a stand!

Burning bush, a holy flame,
“Moshe, go – call out My name.”
Staff to serpent, miracles show,
Still Pharaoh’s heart said “No, no, no!”

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
God has said, now you must know.
From the Nile to freedom’s land,
We are born to take a stand!

Ten plagues came and shook the land,
Frogs and thunder, outstretched hand.
Till he cried: “Now go, you’re free!”
And the sea broke wide for all to see.

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
Now the world will learn and grow.
From the Nile to freedom’s shore,
We are free – we are strong.

Through the desert, hearts were brave,
God had shown the path to save.
Waves rose high on either side,
Faith became their only guide.

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
Now the world will learn and grow.
From the Nile to freedom’s shore,
We are free – we are strong.

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
Now the world will learn and grow.
From the Nile to freedom’s shore,
We are free – we are strong.

Morning light on freedom’s shore,
Chains were gone forevermore.
Songs of joy, the children sang,
Through the hills their voices reign.

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
God has said, now you must know.
From the Nile to freedom’s land,
We are born to take a stand!

Let my people go, oh Pharaoh,
Now the world will learn and grow.
From the Nile to freedom’s shore,
We are free – we are strong.

Speak to the Rock

In the desert’s silence, God whispered to Moshe – let water flow through words, not wounds. ‘Speak to the Rock’ is the second video from my upcoming album of songs for Passover.

Lyrics - Let My People Go! [click to open]

In the desert, dry and wide,
No more streams or shade to hide.
Thirst was heavy, hearts were weak,
God said softly, “Moshe, speak.”

Speak to the rock, let water flow,
Faith will teach the world to grow.
Words, not force, shall show My way,
Life will bloom from dust and clay.
Words, not force, shall show My way,
Life will bloom from dust and clay.

Crowds were crying, tempers flamed,
Moshe called on God by tears.
Raised his hand, the staff did fall,
Water came – yet silenced all.

Speak to the rock, let trust begin,
Peace is found when hearts look in.
Not by anger, nor by might,
But by faith that shines in light.
Not by anger, nor by might,
But by faith that shines in light.

Still the spring began to pour,
Grace and mercy evermore.
Yet God’s voice was firm and clear,
“Faith means listening without fear.”

Speak to the rock, the lesson stands,
Gentle strength in patient hands.
Lead with love, the waters fall,
God is near and guides us all.
God is near and guides us all.

Moshe bowed, the desert wide,
Tears and wisdom side by side.
He had led through storm and sand,
Now he learned to understand.

Speak to the rock, let hearts be still,
Faith will shape the holy will.
Voice of mercy, soft yet strong,
Teaches right instead of wrong.

So we learn from what was done,
Words can heal when war is won.
Faith is gentle, clear and deep,
Speak, and living waters keep.

Speak to the rock, let rivers start,
Kindness flows from every heart.
When we listen, love will grow,
Peace and truth forever flow.
When we listen, love will grow,
Peace and truth forever flow.

Speak to the rock – hear and live!
Faith is found in what we give.
Raise your voices, near and far,
Gentle hearts, how strong we are!
Raise your voices, near and far,
Gentle hearts, and praise our God!

Holy Ground

A quiet moment, a sacred place. ‘Holy Ground’ is the third music video from my upcoming Passover songs album. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Holy Ground [click to open]

In the desert, still and wide,
Sheep are grazing side by side.
Moshe walks where silence flows,
Sacred wind of freedom blows.

Take off your shoes, this holy ground,
Where fire burns yet peace is found.
Listen, Moses, hear My call,
Stand with courage, give your all.
Listen, Moses, hear My call,
Stand with courage, give your all.

Bush aflame yet not consumed,
Light and shadow both resumed.
Voice of God in flame and air,
Telling Moses, “I am there.”

Take off your shoes, this holy land,
Where heart and spirit understand.
Listen, Moses, fear no more,
You shall lead them, rich and poor.
Listen, Moses, fear no more,
You shall lead them, rich and poor.

“Tell oh Pharaoh, let them go,
My people’s pain the world shall know.
Raise your staff and speak My name,
Freedom’s fire shall never wane.”

Take off your shoes, this sacred flame,
Carry the truth, proclaim My name.
Listen, Moses, stand and see,
I will guide you – trust in Me.
Listen, Moses, stand and see,
I will guide you – trust in Me.

Moses bowed, his face in light,
Heart awakened to the right.
Through the fire his spirit found,
Every soul is holy ground.

“Moses,” said the voice so near,
“Do not hide or shrink in fear.
I am with you, speak your part,
Strength is born within your heart.”

Every step, each breath, each sound,
Echoes through this sacred ground.
When you listen, hearts will know,
Flames of faith still softly glow.

Take off your shoes, the ground is near,
The voice of heaven whispers clear.
Walk with mercy, hand in hand,
Turn the desert into promised land.
Walk with mercy, hand in hand,
Turn the desert to promised land.

Take off your shoes – this ground is flame!
Carry the light, proclaim His name.
Raise your hearts and lift your eyes,
Freedom and faith shall never die!
Raise your hearts and lift your eyes,
Freedom and faith shall never die!

We Open the Door for Eliyahu

We open the door, for Eliyahu (Elijah), who brings with him hope, faith, and the promise of peace yet to come. This project is Human/AI collaboration, continuing an ancient conversation through new sound and image.

Lyrics - We Open the Door for Eliyahu [click to open]

Candles gleam on Seder night,
Homes are warm with gentle light.
We stand up, and nothing more
We open wide our humble door.

We open the door for Eliyahu,
Hope and promise passing through.
Peace may enter, as of yore,
Blessings cross our open door.
Peace may enter, as of yore,
Blessings grace our open door.

Faith, not fear, invites the guest;
God will guard, and hearts will rest.
Welcome in the night’s soft roar,
We open wide our family door.

We open the door for Eliyahu,
Trust and courage shining true.
Freedom’s whisper fills the floor,
Love steps through our open door.
Freedom’s whisper fills the floor,
Love comes through our open door.

There his cup stands full of wine,
Kept for tidings bright, divine.
Words of promise we restore
“I will bring you” evermore.

We open the door for Eliyahu,
Signs of hope in all we do.
Fifth cup waiting, pledged before,
Dreams draw near our open door.
Fifth cup waiting, pledged before,
Dreams draw near and ask for more.
Fifth cup waiting, pledged before,
Dreams draw near and ask for more.

Children ask, and elders tell,
Past and future sing so well.
Hand to hand, from shore to shore,
We open for what’s yet in store.

We open the door for Eliyahu,
Generations learning, too.
Time unites us, rich and poor,
Hearts stand by the open door.
Time unites us, rich and poor,
Hearts keep watch beside the door.

Deeper still, a truth we find:
Open doors and open mind.
When we welcome, we restore
Every heart becomes a door.

We open the door for Eliyahu,
Peace and promise shining through.
Raise our voices, sing once more,
Hope walks in our open door.
Raise our voices, sing once more,
Hope walks in – forevermore.

Eliyahu – enter here!
Fill the world with faith and cheer.
Homes flung wide from shore to shore,
Bless the night and bless each door.
Homes flung wide from shore to shore,
Bless the night and every door.

The Four Sons

Four voices. Four ways of listening. One shared story… The fifth video from my album ‘Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)’, inspired by the Haggadah and reimagined for today. The Wise who asks. The Wicked who separates. The Simple who trusts. And the one Who Does Not Know to Ask, reminding us that responsibility belongs to us all.  This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - The Four Sons [click to open]

The Wise Son asks the ‘why’
Looks for truth beneath the sign
Wants the root, not just the rule
Living real, not just the tool
Every question clears the way
Learning grows with what we say

This is our story, here and now
This is our freedom, hear it loud
Wisdom lives where questions grow
Step by step, we learn and know

The Wicked Son steps aside
Says the story’s “yours, not mine”
Turns the shared into alone
Builds a wall around his own
Breaking from the common ground
Shows how unity breaks down

This is our story, here and now
This is our freedom, hear it loud
Freedom fades when one divides
It stays alive when hearts align
The Simple Son: “What is this?”
Sees the spark the others miss
No defence, no need to lead
Finds the truth in what he feels
Faith is light, not force or role
Just an open, trusting soul

This is our story, here and now
This is our freedom, hear it loud
Freedom comes with open hands
Trusting more than we have planned
The Silent Son, quiet, still,
Learns from what our actions bring
Truth begins when love goes first
Not with answers, not with words
We must show him how to start
No one grows alone in heart

This is our story, here and now
This is our freedom, hear it loud
Freedom lives when all belong
Every voice is heard and strong

The Wise Son teaches how to learn
The Wicked shows what bridges burn
The Simple teaches trust
The Silent teaches responsibility for us all.

Matza Moon

Under the Matza Moon, we remember the taste of freedom – the rush of leaving, the promise of becoming.  This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Matza Moon [click to open]

In the sunlight, bags in hand,
Running free across the sand.
Bread unrisen, hearts so fast,
Matza made to make it last.

Matza moon, rise up high,
Taste of freedom, never die.
Every crumb a tale retold,
Of a people brave and bold.

Children sing, the drums all beat,
Dusty roads beneath their feet.
No more chains, no more fear,
God is close, and freedom’s near.

Matza moon, rise up high,
Taste of freedom, never die.
Every crumb a tale retold,
Of a people brave and bold.

Waves stood tall and winds did roar,
Path of light from shore to shore.
Through the sea they walked in line,
Trusting love, a power divine.

Desert stars and endless sky,
Dreams of promise drawing nigh.
Milk and honey, hope’s new land,
Guided by God’s gentle hand.

Carry hope, carry song,
Every step where hearts belong.
Through the desert, dreams unfold,
A story new, a story old.

Matza moon, rise up high,
Taste of freedom, never die.
Every crumb a tale retold,
Of a people brave and bold.

Walk the Sea

When the past is behind you, and the waters stand before you, what do you do? You walk. ‘Walk the Sea’, the seventh release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)”.  This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Walk the Sea [click to open]

Waves before, the past behind,
Faith – the compass; heart – the guide.
Raise the staff, the waters part,
Light and courage fill the heart.

Walk the sea within your soul,
Faith will heal and make you whole.
Step by step, the waters bend,
Every fear will find its end.
Step by step, the waters bend,
Every fear will find its end.

Fish below and sky above,
Desert stars and endless love.
Through the deep, the people go,
Carrying dreams that start to grow.

Walk the sea within your soul,
Faith will heal and make you whole.
Step by step, the light will rise,
Every doubt will close its eyes.
Step by step, the light will rise,
Every doubt will close its eyes.

Walls of water, shining blue,
Miracles in every view.
Hope ahead and truth behind,
Freedom calling, unconfined.

Walk the sea within your soul,
Faith will heal and make you whole.
Step by step, the path is clear,
Every shadow disappears.
Step by step, the path is clear,
Every shadow… peace appears.

Golden dawn on freedom’s shore,
Tears of joy forevermore.
Hearts awakened, spirits free,
Singing through eternity.
Every soul a hidden sea,
Filled with light and mystery.
When you open, when you try,
Miracles will never die.

Walk the sea within your soul,
Faith will heal and make you whole.
Step by step, the heart will mend,
Love will guide you to the end.
Step by step, the heart will mend,
Love will guide you to the end.

Walk the sea within your soul!
Faith will heal and make you whole!
Waves will part, and skies will send,
Peace and hope that never end!
Waves will part, and skies will send,
Peace and hope that never end!

Pillars of Cloud and Fire

They do not explain. They simply lead – the pillars that guided the people through the desert. “Pillars of Cloud and Fire” is the eighth release. 🎶 Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Pillars of Cloud and Fire [click to open]
Through the desert, wide and far,
Led by flame and guiding light.
Day by cloud and night by fire,
Faith and hope could never tire.

Pillar of cloud, pillar of fire,
Faith and courage, lifting higher.
Light the way, both near and far,
God will guide us where we are.
Light the way, both near and far,
God will guide us where we are.

When the sun burned hot and high,
Clouds gave shade beneath the sky.
When the cold night’s winds would roam,
Fire would lead the people home.

Pillar of cloud, pillar of flame,
Every night and day the same.
Through the darkness, none shall tire,
Walk with faith through sand and fire.
Through the darkness, none shall tire,
Walk with faith through sand and fire.

Dreams of promise filled each heart,
Freedom shaped a brand new start.
Every step, the path made clear,
God’s own light was always near.

Pillar of cloud, pillar of flame,
Hope and love in every name.
Hearts remember, spirits rise,
Guided by the desert skies.
Hearts remember, spirits rise,
Guided by those desert skies.

Cloud by day and fire by night,
Symbols of eternal light.
Every heart a spark of gold,
Every soul a tale retold.

Pillar of cloud, pillar of fire,
Dreams and courage never tire.
Hand in hand, we journey still,
Following the holy will.
Hand in hand, we journey still,
Following that holy will.

Now we walk in modern lands,
Still the light in faithful hands.
When the road seems dark or long,
We remember freedom’s song.

Pillar of cloud, pillar of fire,
Lead us on through doubt and mire.
Faith will shine and hope remain,
Light our hearts to find the way.
Faith will shine and hope remain,
Light our hearts to find the way.

Pillar of fire, burning bright!
Guide our souls through every night!
Pillar of fire, burning bright!
Guide our souls through every night!

Pillar of cloud by morning’s glow,
Lead us where the faithful go!

Carried on a Mother’s Prayer

Before miracles. Before leaders. Before freedom had a name – there was a mother who let go, believing God would carry what she could not… Moses basket set upon the Nile, holding the future of a people. This is the ninth release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)”. 🎶 Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Carried on a Mother’s Prayer [click to open]

Soft Nile water flows so slow,
Mother’s heart is full of hope.
Tiny baby, held so dear,
Floating gently, reeds are near.

Basket floating, drifting by,
River keeps the baby dry.
Through the reeds, hope moves along,
Love and courage make her strong.

Miriam watched from far away,
Brave and quiet, there she stayed.
Princess heard the baby cry,
Kindness shone beneath the sky.

Basket floating, shining bright,
Hope was born that day and night.
Gentle hands and caring hearts,
Faith and love would make a start.

“Take this child,” the princess said,
“Keep him safe and keep him fed.”
Moses safe and held once more,
Peace returned along the shore.

Basket floating, safe and sound,
Tears and fears are fading now.
Dreams grow strong and hearts grow wide,
God will lead and be our guide.

Years went by, the boy grew tall,
Learned the pain and heard the call.
One small life, a chosen one,
Freedom’s work had just begun.

Basket floating, story starts,
Hope was placed in tiny hearts.
From the water Moses came,
Freedom rose and broke the chain.

Basket on the river wide,
Faith and courage side by side.
Lift your hearts and sing again,
Freedom’s journey has no end.

Walking in the Desert Star

In the desert, the Hebrews walked in the formation of the Star of David – women and children at the centre, and guards at the outer points. “Walking in the Desert Star” is the tenth release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)” 🎶 Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Walking in the Desert Star [click to open]

Through the golden desert sand,
Faith was strong in every hand.
Men stood guard both near and far,
Walking in the Desert Star.

Walking as Magen David,
Guided lights that never mar.
Hearts together, strong and true,
God walked with the people too.
Hearts together, strong and true,
God walked with the people too.

In the centre, safe and mild,
Women, elders, every child.
Round them formed a shining bar,
Glowing like a Desert Star.

Walking as Magen David,
Hope and courage, who they are.
Faith unites both near and far,
Bound by love, the guiding Star.
Faith unites both near and far,
Bound by love, the guiding Star.

Triangles that meet as one,
Earth below and heaven’s sun.
God above and hearts below,
Light and mercy ever flow.

Walking in the Desert Star,
Journey long yet hearts ajar.
Heaven bends to touch the sand,
God and people hand in hand.
Heaven bends to touch the sand,
God and people hand in hand.

Every soul a spark of flame,
Every heart a sacred name.
From their steps a nation grew,
Strong in faith and purpose too.

Walking in the Desert Star,
Faith and family, who they are.
Every path and prayer aligned,
Love and light in every mind.
Every path and prayer aligned,
Love and light in every mind.

Now we stand where they once trod,
Linked by promise, faith, and God.
From the past to where we are,
Still we walk Magen David.

Walking in the Desert Star,
Guided lights that shine afar.
Hearts united, souls set free,
Faith and peace for all to see.
Hearts united, souls set free,
Faith and peace eternally.

Magen David – forever shines!
Guide our hearts in every line.
Raise your voices near and far,
We still walk the Desert Star!
Raise your voices near and far,
We still walk the Desert Star!

Table of Freedom

On Passover (Pesach), around the Seder table, freedom is not just remembered – it is passed on. “Table of Freedom” is the eleventh release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)” 🎶 Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - Table of Freedom [click to open]

On the mountain, fire bright,
Words of wisdom, pure and light.
“Honour, love, and truth shall be,
The heart of every family.”

Table of freedom, stories unfold,
Wine and matza, silver and gold.
Sing of the journey, tell what we know,
Pass to children, let the story grow.
Sing of the journey, tell what we know,
Pass to children, and let it grow.

The moon ascends above the ground,
Voices laughing, sacred sound.
Elijah’s door is open wide,
Hope and joy come inside.

Table of freedom, candles aglow,
Matza of memory, hearts overflow.
Sing of the journey, tell what we see,
Love is our song through history.
Sing of the journey, tell what we see,
Love is our song for all to be free.

Hands together, young and old,
Tales of courage now retold.
Pharaoh’s night has passed away,
Faith has brought the dawn of day.

Table of freedom, blessings renew,
Stories of strength, ancient and true.
Sing of the promise, bright as the flame,
Freedom and kindness, one and the same.
Sing of the promise, bright as the flame,
Freedom and hope will carry the name.

Ten commandments, carved in stone,
Teach the heart what truth has shown.
Honour parents, guard the name,
Every word a living flame.
Table of freedom, wisdom’s call,

Echoes of Sinai, heard by all.
Sing of compassion, mercy and grace,
Justice and peace in every place.
Sing of compassion, mercy and grace,
Justice and peace through time and space.

Generations come and go
Still the Pesach candles glow.
Telling again what makes us free,
Living the truth of history.

From Egypt’s night to Sinai’s flame,
Each generation calls His name.
Pesach teaches every year,
Freedom’s voice is always near.

Table of freedom, shining and strong,
Voices united, lifting in song.
Sing of tomorrow, faith to defend,
Peace in our hearts – it will never end.
Sing of tomorrow, faith to defend,
Peace in our hearts – love without end.

Table of freedom – candles gleam!
Hope and harmony, life’s great dream.
Raise your voices, let them soar,
Freedom forever – forevermore!
Raise your voices, let them soar,
Freedom forever – forevermore!

The Seder Plate

The memory you can taste… “The Seder Plate” is the twelfth release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)” 🎶 Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration.

Lyrics - The Seder Plate [click to open]

Round the table, candles bright,
Stories shared on this holy night.
Every symbol, taste and sign,
Tells of freedom, love divine.

Circle of the Seder Plate,
Lessons old yet still so great.
Egg and herb, the tears, the song,
Memory keeps our spirit strong.
Egg and herb, the tears, the song,
Memory keeps our hearts lifelong.

Bitter herbs recall our pain,
Tears of slaves in Pharaoh’s reign.
Haroset sweet, the hope we keep,
Brick and mortar, dreams that sleep.

Circle of the Seder Plate,
Tastes of sorrow, joy, and fate.
Salt and honey, past and now,
Freedom lives in every vow.
Salt and honey, past and now,
Freedom shines in every vow.

Shank bone tells of sacrifice,
Faith was forged at such a price.
Matza flat, no time to wait,
Haste and courage sealed our fate.

Circle of the Seder Plate,
Every heart participates.
Bitter, sweet, and strong we stand,
Journey bound for promised land.
Bitter, sweet, and strong we stand,
Journey led by God’s own hand.

Egg of life, the circle whole,
Birth and loss in every soul.
Greens of springtime, bright and new,
Hope returns like morning dew.

Circle of the Seder Plate,
Seasons turn, and hearts create.
Taste the story, time and sand,
Life renews at God’s command.
Taste the story, time and sand,
Life restored by God’s own hand.

Children watch, and elders tell,
Past and present weave so well.
Round the table, all belong,
Every flavour sings our song.

Circle of the Seder Plate,
Faith and family celebrate.
Taste of freedom, born anew,
Love eternal, strong and true.
Taste of freedom, born anew,
Love eternal, strong and true.

Rise…

Circle of stories, light and grace,
Every heart a sacred place.
Raise your voices, lift and sing,
Freedom’s circle – everlasting spring!
Raise your voices, lift and sing,
Freedom’s circle – everlasting spring!

The Ten Plagues (part 1)

This is not about punishment but awakening – before freedom there is resistance, before redemption the world is shaken, injustice is named, silence breaks, and power is confronted. 🎶 “The Ten Plagues (part 1)” is the thirteenth release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)” ✨ Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration. – Dr. Gil.

Lyrics - The Ten Plagues (part 1) [click to open]

Blood.
Egypt said, “The Nile is god,
Life just flows, no higher law.”
Then Nile ran red, warm, alive,
Life is God’s, not nature’s drive.

Frogs.
Egypt burned with pride and want; hot hot.
Ego ruled their every thought; hot hot.
Then cold frogs thrived in blazing land; hot hot,
Living proof of God’s command.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone rules the world

Lice.
Egypt said, “Our hands create,
Small and great obey our state.”
Then dust turned living, seen and slight,
God shapes life by His might.

Wild Beasts.
Egypt prized strict rule and law,
“Order comes from human claw.”
Then different beasts surged all at once,
Breaking rules Egypt spun.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone rules the world

Pestilence.
Egypt trusted wealth and force,
Herds and horses were their source.
God spoke once – animals fell,
Life serves Him, not power’s spell.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone commands the world

Ten plagues, ten lessons clear,
Not just then, but now, right here.
Change belief, align with light,
Freedom walks where faith ignites.

The Ten Plagues (part 2)

Part 2: The Awakening – before freedom there is resistance, before redemption the world is shaken, silence breaks, and power is confronted. 🎶 “The Ten Plagues (part 2)” is the fourteenth release from my album “Redemption – Songs for Passover (Pesach)” ✨ Ancient story. New sound. This project is a Human/AI collaboration. – Dr. Gil.

Blood. Frogs. Lice. Wild Beasts. Pestilence.
Then came Boils.

Egypt ruled by polished show,
Outer shine, faults below.
So, ash was thrown, the truth broke through,
What’s concealed comes into view.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone commands the world

Hail.
Egypt said, “The world is sealed,
Fire and ice can never yield.”
Then fire burned in frozen rain,
God stands over law and chain.

Locusts.
Egypt stored their wealth away,
“More means safe, less means decay.”
But all was gone in open sight,
Locusts ate their stored-up might.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone commands the world

Darkness.
Egypt froze in heavy shade,
Will and vision tightly caged.
Only righteous still could see,
Inner truth brings clarity.

Firstborn.
Egypt crowned the first, the strong,
Power’s root where life belonged.
Then root was struck, lie undone,
Life belongs to God alone.

Each plague taught, each plague showed
What they trusted, why it broke
God alone commands the soul
God alone commands the world

Ten plagues, ten lessons clear,
Not just then, now, right here.
Change belief, align with light,
Freedom walks where faith ignites.
